Dee & Mark married at Glenlo Abbey Hotel, Co. Galway

It was a beautiful ceremony at the Glenlo Abbey Hotel for Dee and Mark and all the guests. What was unusual about the wedding was, that they celebrated for two days! Dee and Mark have a lot in common, they both love cycling and even the cake was made with a little bicycle on top of it. They shared a lot of passion and closeness on the day which made  a lot easier to capture their happiness and joy. Speeches were very thoughtful and honest, specially Bride’s dad made everyone feeling very emotional and touched. Thank you very much for a wonderful day, for letting me the part of it and wishing you both years of happiness and a great adventure when you are cycling!

Galway wedding photography: Gillian & Matthew

Gillian was one of the Brides who smiled and laughed all day, she truly enjoyed her wedding  day. Gillian decided that she wants her make up to be done by Bridal Makeup by Nataliya ( https://www.facebook.com/weddingboutique.ie/) and it was definitely the right choice. Nataliya is exceptionally talented make up artist and she made Gillian look more than stunning! As it was a Christmas wedding, straight after the ceremony in Athenry Church, we rushed to the train station to get some photos done, purely because the light was getting lower and lower and we wanted to get some wedding bridal party photos done by time it was dark. Fergal from Marriage Multimedia, who was on duty to film the ceremony, followed us  to Raheen Woods Hotel, in Athenry where guests had their drinks and snacks while they waited for the Bride & Groom. The hotel staff welcomed the Bride & Groom in a spectacular way by playing the bag pipes which was great to listen! Together with the second photographer, Kamil Krolak, we had plenty of fun with Gillian & Matthew and we do hope that the rest of their marriage will be as festive, glamorous and entertaining as their wedding day. Best wishes, Maya Noonan Photography.

Rebecca & Eamon’s Wedding at the Raheen Woods Hotel, Athenry

And yet another day of great fun and celebrations. It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Rebecca and Eamon’s Big Day which started in Craughwell where Rebecca was getting read.  Luckily, Eamon was only few houses away so I had a chance  to capture preparations of the Groom and his family too.  Loved the way Eamon’s  Mum was playing piano for him!

Rebecca and Eamon decided to say “ I Do” at beautiful Clostoken Church near Loughrea, followed by the reception at the Raheen Woods Hotel.  I cant recommend this hotel high enough as a Wedding Venue. Lester, the Manager of the Hotel ,not only welcomed the Bride and Groom but he was part of everything on the day, he was so professional and also extremely funny which made everyone feel  so relaxed. The food was delicious and everything was on time, service was just brilliant. Guests really enjoyed celebrating the day in an extremely friendly atmosphere.

Rebecca and Eamon, you are soul mates to each other,  an amazing parents of two little girls, I have no doubt your life will be full of happiness and love. Wishing you all the best in your future together and thank you for having me as your wedding photographer, truly enjoyed working with you!

E&M Married at Salthil Church, Galway

It is amazing to see a couple who is carrying so much for each other as Emma & Malcolm. I had a great chance to get to know Emma during the delicious breakfast served by her lovely Mum. Emma was very calm in the morning and  rather than being stressed, she was very excited about their special day. Malcolm was getting ready at the Galway Bay Hotel surrounded by his friends and family. We were blessed with a nice weather which gave us a chance to take some amazing photos in the Salthil Park and also on the beach-which was Emma’s dream request. It was also great to see Sandi and Richard again- lovely couple for whom I did wedding photography in the past. I wish Emma & Malcolm the best of times together and I hope we will meet once again.1234567891011121314161718192021222324252627282930313233343536

Married at Cloonacauneen Castle, Galway

It was an amazing ceremony and guest reception in Cloonacauneen Castle where and Irish Bride married an Italian Groom. The multicultural background of all the guests created an atmosphere everyone will remember for years to come! Oudoor ceremony, the constant singing from the Italian guests, and a mixture of Irish and Italian traditional customs made this fantastic day even better. The Bride featured on the day in two wedding dresses – both beautiful and unique in their own way. After the ceremony-grains of rice were thrown at the couple as a symbol of prosperity and wealth. BUONA FORTUNA ALLA COPPIA FELICE !

Trish & Karl – Married in Athenry Church, Co. Galway

Karl is definitely one of the most caring Groom I have ever meet ! Gifts, flowers and even whiskey were sent to their house while Trish was getting ready – all to calm her nerves & make this special day even more enjoyable. Beautiful church ceremony in Athenry was followed by a guest reception at their own house where the guests, friends and family members enjoyed the incredibly sunny weather and friendly atmosphere. We took some lovely photos at a magical place, Lady’s Well,  which Trish visited many times in her childhood. It was a great trip down the memory lane. I have no doubt – the rest of their marriage will be as fun and adventurous as their Wedding Day. Best of luck guys, Maja.

Castle Durrow Wedding Photography – Clare & Declan

It is not the first wedding I had an opportunity  to capture for this wonderful family and once again it was a pleasure to see them all and be part of their celebrations.  This couple ticked all the necessary boxes during their special day. The ceremony at the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary was filled with beautiful music and friendly atmosphere. Castle Durow made a magical location for the guests reception and celebrations afterwards. The couple was blessed with a beautiful weather  and a  sunny day which allowed us to walk around the colorful gardens of the castle and take some amazing stills to memorize that wonderful day even more. And to top it all off – the most incredible first dance I have ever seen. Everyone was very surprised to see the amazing routine Clare & Declan have prepared.  All those little touches and the couple who showed so much love to each other at any given occasion – made those celebrations truly special. Clare & Declan – have a happy life together!

Anna Marie & David – Documentary Wedding Photography

It is not very often that I get to walk with the Bride to a church that is located just around the corner. It is even more rare to see a Groom arriving to the church on a tractor  to underline his farming background. Anna & David had a beautiful ceremony filled with little touches that made this day even more special. The guests were invited to take a bus trip from St Joseph’s Church to The Park Hotel to symbolize the bus trip on which this two lovely people first met each other. It was a very memorable and touching moment when Anna took few minutes to sit down and look at the wedding photo album of her parents. Anna has incredibly precise attention to details – and Dave is supportive and always doing his best to make Anna very happy. Their friendly and kind personalities made this day fun and full of joy for all the family and friends. They topped off their celebrations with an Irish Dance for their first dance as a married couple.. and the party continued till the early morning.. I would like to wish them all the best.
